Bishop Burton College's Town and Country Day will be held on 27th May 2012. The
College will open its gates to the public once again for this popular event following a six-year
hiatus during the College’s £40million campus redevelopment scheme.
This lively, family orientated event will run in tandem with Bishop Burton's prestigious
British Eventing Horse Trials, simultaneously showcasing a high level of equine talent
alongside a host of rural-themed displays and activities.
The event will consist of a variety of displays including Falconry, Chainsaw Carving and
an exhilarating Horseball competition. There will also be a series of interactive activities
including rural craft workshops, sports coaching and a chance for children to get up close to
the animals on the College farm and animal management unit.
